Standard (DIN/NIST) buffering solutions (buffer bottles)
Buffering solutions as per DIN 19266-01: 2000 are the most widely distributed buffering solutions. They are the so-called work reference buffering solutions, and, because of their composition being listed in the standard, they are the best known buffering solutions around. Standard buffering solutions by WTW are traceably certified to PTB/NIST and therefore safe for use.
As standard buffering solutions, the buffers pH 1.679, pH 4.006, pH 6.865, pH 9.180 and pH 12,47 (PL 2, PL 4, PL 7, PL 9 and PL 12) are available in 250 ml bottles.
They are accurate to ± 0.02 pH. Also, every bottle is labeled with their own lot number with an expiration date. Here you will find manufacturer's certificates.
